PCARD is one of the most reputable and respected organizations in the West Bank having implemented multiple sustainable development projects funded by international donors such as USAID, EU, Canada Aid, the Cherry Blair Foundations and others. Over more than 12 years, we have worked and continue to work in leading consortiums of both international and local partners to provide our beneficiaries with sustainable economic opportunities to help alleviate their families from their current socio-economic situation to sustainable economic independence. Since 2009, PCARD has been operating in all Palestinian communities throughout the West Bank and gained the trust and confidence of these communities, including that of the national and local governments decision makers. PCARD has direct access to the most vulnerable and underprivileged Palestinian communities across the West Bank.
We have been implementing projects focusing on sustainable development for over a decade. We have engaged with multiple international donors and local stakeholders. We learned that we should equip our beneficiaries with every tool and skill in order to succeed in maintaining and expanding their businesses. However, we do not overburden them with issues that could be provided to them through professional organizations. These issues include business promotion tools such as marketing, advertising, sales, in addition to technical issues such as adopting best practices and lessons learnt in order to enhance the quality and quantity of their produce.
